# I have access to the list of participants, how do I get in touch with someone on this list?

**To get in touch with a participant:**  
1. Go to your [connected area](https://account.annecyfestival.com/en/login)
2. Click on the "Directory" tab
3. Select the participant who you would like to contact. You can narrow your search by [using the filters](https://helpdesk.annecyfestival.com/en/article/how-do-i-filter-the-list-of-participants-andor-companies-1mabfrg/).
4. Once you have found the participant you are looking for, click on "contact".
5. Now you can send your message, which will go directly to the participant's inbox.

If a participant contacts you, you will receive their message **in your inbox** connected to your user account.  
You can answer directly by using the "reply" function in your private inbox.
