How to move around Annecy's lakeshores?

A wide range of transport options are available to reach the lakeshores :

• Rent a bike for the week:

There are many places in Annecy and next to the lake where you can rent a bike for the week. Then you can move around freely without any constraints. Here is the list of rental companies

• Use the urban buses to move around:

The Sibra bus n° 15 (goes to the west side of the lake – Annecy to Duingt) and bus n° 20 (goes to the east side of the lake – Annecy to Talloires-Montmin): these buses run from Monday to Saturday, 6:00 am to 00:45 am (last departure from Annecy), and Sunday, 9:00 am to 00:45 am.

These buses are included in the Sibra bus pass (1 to 7-day passes). Weekly passes are available for festivalgoers.

The Région Rhône-Alpes coach N° Y51 runs from Annecy to Albertville along the west side of the lake.

PLEASE NOTE : The Sibra passes (1 to 7 days) can be used on this network as far as Duingt only. To go further than this commune, you must purchase a ticket either online or directly from the coach driver.

New for 2026 : Additional services have been introduced along the lakeshore, including:

• 2 morning departures from Talloires and Lathuile to Annecy
• 4 evening return journeys from Annecy to Talloires and Lathuile
