• How will I know if my film has been selected?

  The list of films in the Official Selection and in competition will be available www.annecyfestival.com at the end of March. For selected films: the Festival will inform the person who has submitted the film by e-mail in due time. The Festival's Protocol Department will be in contact with the teams of the selected films, and will advise them on the logistical aspects of the filmmaker's visit. • Are the programmes available online ?

  No. The Festival is held exclusively on-site. Therefore, the programmes (films, events and meetings) are not available to view online.Few readers

• My film is selected in competition, will I be invited by the Festival?

  Invitation conditions for directors of Short films in competition (Short Films, Off-Limits, Young Audience and Perspectives sections), Feature films in competition, Contrechamp competition, Television films (series & TV specials): • Accommodation for 6 nights for the director (only one director per film in case of co-production). • Mifa accreditation* for the director(s) listed in the credits. • Several of us co-directed the film, will we all be invited by the Festival?

  In case of co-direction, only one director may benefit from accommodation (if needed). However, all directors appearing on the credits will be offered a Mifa accreditation. • I'm the producer of a film in the Official Selection, what am I entitled to?

  In accordance with the Festival regulations, only producers of features in the Official Selection will be offered Mifa accreditation (for one producer only in the case of co-production). They must however reserve and pay for their own accommodation. For the other categories, producers must get accreditation and reserve/pay for their own accommodation.Few readers

• I'm a director of a film in the Official Selection, can I give my accreditation to another representative?

  No. The invitation (whether an accreditation or accommodation) is strictly personal and non-transferable. In no case can it/they be transferred to another person, even for a producer or if the invited director cannot come to the Festival. The producer, or any other representative of the film wishing to attend Annecy Festival, must reserve and pay for accreditation and accommodation.Few readers

• I'm a director or producer of a film in the Official Selection, how do I access the film theatre?

  Directors and producers of all the films in the Official Selection (in and out of competition): The Festival's Protocol Department will send you all the necessary details about the cinema theatre access for your official screening, in due time. • How do I confirm I'm attending the Festival?

  The Festival Protocol department will contact the selected film teams and send an invitation and accreditation form to the invited directors. Once received, they must complete the form as soon as possible to confirm their visit. You will receive confirmation and the necessary information for your stay by e-mail at the end of May. • People travelling with directors

  Any person travelling with the director will not have free accommodation or accreditation. For accommodation, if the person wants to share a room with the director (except for Graduation Films), supplements for a double room and breakfasts must be paid for personally, if not, reserve and pay accommodation.
