• How do I submit my film ?

  From 17th November 2025 you can register your work via your user account in the "Submit a film" section. Select the relevant category for your work and read the terms and conditions and registration fees that apply to your category. Fill in all the information requested in the form. Each step you complete is saved, so you can fill out the form in several stages and find your saved form on your "My works Submitted works" trackingFew readers

• What is the deadline for submitting my film?

  You can register your work until: Sunday 15th February 2026 at 11:59 pm (UTC+01:00) for Short Films, Graduation Films, TV Films, Commissioned Films Sunday 15th March 2026 at 11:59 pm (UTC+01:00) for Feature Films and Immersive WorksFew readers

• Is it possible to save a rough draft when registration opens and then come back to it later to finish the application ?

  You can save your film's submission form as a draft and add additional information later. The form is automatically saved in your "My works Submitted works" tracking page. You can modify your form at any time before payment, within the specified deadline. However, the category cannot be changed. You can also delete a draft.Few readers

• I have already submitted my work. Can I still make changes?

  You can only make changes to your work before paying your submission fee. Once payment has been confirmed, your submission is finalised, and you can no longer make any changes.Few readers

• I submitted my film last year and it wasn't selected. Can I submit it again this year?

  No, unless the film you submitted to the 2025 edition was unfinished when you registered it at the time and you specified "work in progress" or "WIP" in the work's title.Few readers

• Can I enter another episode of a series that was already selected?

• I would like to submit a feature film. What are the eligibility criteria?

  To be eligible, Feature films must: be made for cinema, television or any other broadcast platform, be completed after 1st January 2025, and have a running time of over 60 minutes, including credits. Selected Feature films (in all categories: Official, Contrechamp, Midnight Specials, Annecy Presents) must be unseen in France until the end of the Festival. The only exceptions are the Festival de Cannes, its official selection, the Directors' Fortnight, La Semaine de la critiquSome readers

• I have made a short film that could be developed into a series or feature: how do I submit it ?

  Your short film must be submitted and is only eligible in the Festival's Short Films category. If you have a project to develop this short film into a feature project you can submit it to the Mifa Pitches along with all the documents required by the regulations. However, the Mifa Pitches selection committee will evaluate it as a project in development and not judge the short film.Few readers

• Can I submit my film if it is not finished yet (work in progress) ?

  Yes, you can submit your film as a "work in progress" before the registration deadline. The Festival will consider unfinished films provided that they are sufficiently developed to be judged and that the submitter agrees to finish it by 15th May 2026. Please tick the corresponding option on your film’s registration form and write it in the work’s title (e.g.: Film title –Few readers

• I am a student, can I submit my film in the Short Films category ?

  Please note, if you are a student and your film was made as part of your academic studies, it must be entered in the Graduation Films category. When registering you must specify the institution (school or university) where the film was produced.Few readers

• Is my film eligible if it has already been screened at a festival, on a platform, on television or online?

  Film submissions do not require exclusive screening rights, except for the Feature Films category. Selected Feature films (in all categories: Official, Contrechamp, Midnight Specials, Annecy Presents) must be unseen in France until the end of the Festival. The only exceptions are the Festival de Cannes, its official selection, the Directors' Fortnight, La Semaine de la critique and ACID. • How do I send the link to view my film?

  Films must be submitted to the Festival using the online submission form, either by indicating a web address (URL) of a viewing platform (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) in the submission form, or by uploading the film directly to the submission platform (max 5 Go). Password-protected URL links must remain active until 15th July 2026 inclusive and films must be downloadable.Few readers
